In order to be work ready it’s important that young people develop skills to better prepare them for the world of work in the 21st Century.

Broadly speaking kids who understand their strengths, interests and aspirations are emotionally intelligent, and gritty.

Developing such ‘soft skills’ takes time and this set of videos will help students develop them.

Each video will look at a trait or skill that will help them develop emotional intelligence.

They will be shown how these traits benefit their everyday lives, or (subtly) in the world of work.

Plus each video includes a thought-provoking practical activity for students to develop this skill in themselves.
