The NSPCC partner with Bookful for Pantosaurus and the Power of Pants!
The NSPCC has embarked on a new partnership with the award-winning Bookful to bring the Pantosaurus and the Power of Pants storybook to its mobile library.
Pantosaurus has been brought to virtual life via the Augmented Reality (AR) app, Bookful, launched by Israeli immersive content company, Inception.
Bookful is an app encouraging children to read through its Augmented Reality library, using AR and 3D animations to bring books to life. It’s a magical, playful universe that merges the digital and the physical worlds to create an interactive reading experience. It is a powerful reading tool that extends beyond the pages of the book.
Pantosaurus is a bright yellow friendly dinosaur that helps parents, carers and teachers Talk PANTS to help keep children safe. The dynamic pants-wearing dino wants every child to stay safe and strong, just like him, and he’s on a mission to share and important message.
The NSPCC introduced Pantosaurus in 2016, and he’s been a feature of their annual Talk PANTS campaign ever since.
The Bookful app, available on the App Store and Google Play, will allow children to read the story with 3D animations that can be projected in the user’s environment – this is supported by an entire suite of assistive reading functions including narration, subtitles, and interactive activities to engage the reader beyond the text while improving knowledge retention and comprehension of the content.
The title is marketed to English Language territories worldwide.
